Treatment Description
Somatic Experiencing is a body orientated form of trauma resolution therapy. A session is roughly an hour long. SE gives us an opportunity to release stress energy (trauma) from the body through presence and attention on specific sensations, emotions, images, body impulses and movements that are arising in the present moment as we work. I will share some tools that you can use to assist you in this process. SE gives us the opportunity to renegotiate overwhelming experiences in our life where our boundaries might have been broken.
